📚 English Panji Books Corpus Search

Six English Panji books are searched from GitHub-hosted JSON, page by page. No PDF is needed at runtime. Search Roman/IAST forms such as Mandar, Śāṇḍilya, Halayudha, Sodarpur, Panichobh, or any English phrase.

Book corpus will load on first search.

🧬 पञ्जी JSON Shard Search

Gotra-Mool thesaurus, वंशावली/VB2 entries, and PDF full text are searched from GitHub-hosted JSON shards. The full XLSB is not downloaded.

These tokens are preserved in the original record; search groups them by family where possible without forcing unsafe meanings.

Data and deployment notes

This page reads panji_search_index.json, optional panji_search_index_addon_excel.json, and panji_mool_mulagram_catalog.json from the same GitHub Pages folder. It keeps the GitHub route while using Videha navigation links with the https://www.videha.co.in/ prefix.

Use Devanagari or Roman/IAST without diacritics.
For ambiguous tokens such as दौ / द्दौ / दु, inspect the original record before citing a final relationship.
Exact field matches are ranked above broad full-text matches.
