PREETI × GAJENDRATHE VIDEHA LITERARY ATLAS

CRITICAL-APPRECIATION CHAPTER · EDITORIAL

Ganapati invocation — Editorial

Ashish Anchinhaar

Detailed description

Anchinhaar explains Setushama’s bridge metaphor through a Samavedic hymn and links it to ethical obstacles in literary life. He describes the second volume as a complement to the first, commissioned mainly from different contributors and composed of new articles. Seven invocations structure its presentation. The preface acknowledges subjects still uncovered and welcomes corrections; its Vedic interpretation and account of the literary field remain the editor’s framing.

This is a editorial framing in the volume’s editorial framing and contextual material strand. The page preserves the contributor’s attribution, the normalized chapter identity, the English-edition locator, and the paired Maithili/English repository manifestations so that the critical argument can be read in its book context rather than as an isolated quotation.
