Tillu’s extended review welcomes the collection’s social reach and especially its children’s section, while making unevenness visible. He questions some borrowed English words, the artistry or emotional force of several stories and Sankarshan’s suitability for staging. He finds technical website material beyond his understanding and identifies missing places in the regional survey. Later references to expanded stories complicate the article’s dating; its praise should not erase these concrete reservations.
