Chapter 33. Volume II and the Khand 1 Index
                     Protocol
The uploaded index states the governing publication sequence:
“GENOME MAPPING VOLUME I [KHAND 1,2,3] - Decoding the
Panji of Mithila Volume II, III & IV decodes these three Khand of
Volume I respectively.” Therefore this revised manuscript is
Volume II and concerns Khand 1 only. Any sentence that sounds
like it covers all three Khands must be read as method, not as
scope.
The index also warns that printed page numbers remain stable
while line numbers may shift slightly; therefore this book uses
page-level and index-block references for coverage, and line-level
references only as guides.

Decoding implication: the headings मेघापत्य, दामोदरापत्य, महेशापत्य, and
माने -गादू are symbolic chapter titles built around the brothers
connected with Mahesh Thakur, but the content under them
ranges across the 167 मूल and must not be narrowed to only those
named descendants.

Source structure and verification apparatus

Editorial source apparatus. This apparatus is descriptive, not interpretive. It records the source-controlled structure used to verify that this page corresponds to formal Chapter 33 of Decoding the Panji of Mithila — Volume II. The chapter text above is preserved from PDF pp. 476-478; formal Chapter 33 in the commit-pinned authoritative source. It is not merged with a neighboring chapter, appendix, annexure, or independent front/back-matter unit. The internal headings below come from the repository’s source-heading inventory and are retained as navigational and audit evidence; showing them here does not turn those headings into separate publications or add claims that are absent from the source.

Internal source headings

  1. Khand 1 scope rule
  2. Symbolic chapter naming in Khand 1

Boundary verification. In the formal sequence this chapter follows Volume II Chapter 32, “Errors, Variants, and Editorial Discipline” and precedes Volume II Chapter 34, “Khand 1 Master Structure and Chapter Link Map”. The chapter extractor begins at the verified formal Chapter 33 marker and stops at the next verified formal chapter marker; for a final chapter it stops before recognized book-level back matter. The concordance above is generated only from distinct terms already present in this chapter’s preserved source text. It is provided for discovery, comparison, and audit, not as an automated judgment about persons, lineages, status, kinship, marriage eligibility, or historical truth.

Chapter-specific source notes

  1. Primary chapter witness. Gajendra Thakur, Decoding the Panji of Mithila — Volume II, formal Chapter 33, PDF pp. 476-478; formal Chapter 33. The HTML transcription is generated from the commit-pinned source PDF and retains the chapter boundary recorded in this edition.
  2. Internal structure. The repository source-heading inventory records 2 subordinate headings for this chapter: “Khand 1 scope rule”; “Symbolic chapter naming in Khand 1”.
  3. Digital editorial method. The page keeps the preserved source text distinct from generated navigational, concordance, visual, and provenance apparatus. The synthetic reconstruction is explanatory only and is not evidence for an individual lineage or a determination of social or marital status.
