  Sulhani Naraun Gramaramabh: Mahidhar, Udayakar, Ratnakar,
Dalu, Madhukar, Lakshman, Ramkrishna, Dharmeshwar, Tulakrishna,
Khokha Devanath Jha, Jagmohan, Harimohan, and Ufarail Khokha

  1. The Sulhani-Naraun opening: Mahidhar, Manodhar,
Lakshmidhar, and Shridhar
   The chapter opens with “अथ सुल्हसु नी नरउन ग्रामारम्भः,” identifying
the Sulhani-Naraun village register. Its first named authority is
Mahamahopadhyay Mahidhar, from whom the source gives Shri Manodhar,
Lakshmidhar, and Shridhar. Shridhar then produces Udayakar and
Priyankar, creating the first bifurcation of the chapter.
   Udayakar gives Ratnakar, Pushpkar, and Ruchikar. Ratnakar gives Dalu,
and Dalu gives Madhukar, Chandrakar, and Divakar. The chapter follows
Madhukar most closely, recording Lakshman, his marriage connection with
Pali and Hireshwar, and the next set of descendants: Ramkrishna, Manhar,
Annu, and Andi.

  2. Ramkrishna, Purushi, Jaydev, Dharmeshwar, Tulakrishna,
and the early Naraun descent
   Ramkrishna’s sons are Purushi and Jaydev, linked with Jalay and Dharni.
Purushi gives Dharmeshwar, who is connected with Khandwala and
Bhaiyaram. Dharmeshwar gives Tulakrishna, connected with Darhiara and
Govind Ram. Tulakrishna’s son Lalit is tied to Sakradhi and Dinaram, while
Durgavati’s issue connects Hemvati with Mani-Sodarpur, Chhatrapati, and
Chakrapani.
   Lalit gives Kirtinath, who is linked with Pihwal and Garamu’s son
Kamlu. Jaydev gives Manik, linked with Thariya, Bachharu, Brahmapura,
and Bhora. Manik produces Baburam and Saheb, connected with Mahishi-
Pali, Pitambar, and Ghanshyam. The Kashi line then connects with Nikhuti,
Shiromani, Chandrapati, Pachahi-Jajiwal, Pathak Dullah, Mahishi-
Budhawal, and Dukhbhanjan.

 3. Haveli-deshe Khokha Devanath Jha: Chandrapati,
Devanath, Kanhaiya, and the Mohan cluster
  The internal heading “हवेली देशेखोखा देवनाथ झा” shifts the focus to
Chandrapati’s line, giving Manorath, Devanath, and Kanhaiya. The
Devanath line is linked with Malangia-Kujauli, Kripanidhi, Ganga, and

Radhanath; the marriage links pass through Mahishi-Pali, Tarapati,
Chandrapati, and Pawauli.
   Kanhaiya’s descendants are Jagmohan, Manmohan, Brajmohan,
Gopimohan, and Harimohan. These entries connect Malangia-Kujauli with
Jinda, Baburam, Sakuri-Sarisav, and Lalit. The line then tracks Jagmohan
through Popmani and Shashinath, followed by Shashimohan, Shrimoohan,
Dukhmochan, Vindhyavasini, Satyabhama, and Subhadra.

  4. Jagmohan, Manmohan, Harimohan, Buddhinath, and the
late household continuations
   The chapter continues with Shashimohan’s son Chandramohan, linked
with Devahar and Tilaknath. Manmohan gives Banamali and Vanshi, and
the same portion records Anupvati’s daughters Singheshwari, Vishweshwari,
and Gangeshwari. These daughters carry the family outward through
Chanka, Murajpur-Khaual, Padmapur-Panichobh, Radhaili-Nepda, Udanpur-
Jajiwal, and Jaykant-Gunikant.
   Harimohan’s sons include Damodar and Shashimohan , with connections
to Hariam , Subodh , Vaidyanath , Sakradhi , Vyakaran Akshadhar , Tarauni
- Karmaha , and Ravinath. Later entries record Rajendra Mohan , Nagendra
Mohan , Buddhinath , Kedar Nath , Tunai , Vishwanath , Bholak ,
Satyanaarayan or Faturi , and the marriage / branch links through Ekhara ,
Alay , Chikni , Veerpur - Panichobh , and Padmapur - Panichobh.

    5. Ufarail Khokha and the chapter close
   The chapter ends with the small but important closing marker “ उफरै ल
खोखा , ” where Kameshwar gives Bindeshwar and Hemanand. Their links
run through Panua , Bhadramani , and Mukund. This close is deliberately
brief : it seals the Sulhani - Naraun / Khokha - Devanath register before the
source moves to the next village opening.
